Security is disrespectful along with teachers to students. I hated it here everyday and still do to this dayOther Review3w ago3 Reviews - Walnut Hill Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSomething needs to be done about a person being on the school’s playground, taking pictures of certain children and giving the entire classroom candy . I’m deeply concerned about the safety and treatment of some of the students that attend because things I have observed raises plenty of questions that need to be answered and addressed at Walnut Hill Elementary School.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Vernon Johns Middle School

"Lock the doors to your home. Have security cameras inside and out of home that record and live. Lock the vehicles and make sure your yard is well lit and if able to put a tall fence around your property. Needs to be at least 6’ tall. "

"I am unsure of any community events in the area. It should be advertised more in the public spaces or even in general mailed outs."

"It’s good and bad, but I don’t necessarily want to live inside Petersburg on the outskirts though it’s OK I love the farmers market and the down-home restaurants"

"They do a lot of things for kids which is pretty cool considering no towns ever wanna just let kids be kids and have fun. Petersburg offers a lot for children especially around the holiday time. Christmas, Halloween, Fourth of July. And they have different events for adults in the community as well, but I like the involvement of the children. "

"It’s not bad…it can get a little tight down in old town, but for the most part, the commute is pretty decent."

"It’s an area less cared for than the predominantly white areas which are well manicured. We have no covered bus stops, no flowers planted, No community events and many abandoned buildings."

"It’s terrible place to live it’s chesterfield county by default. Unsafe high crime area. The only good thing about living in Ettrick is your children can attend Chesterfield County schools. That’s it!"
