Description

Fall in love with the abundant light, hardwood floors, the open floor plan, and the fantastic views from every room. The entire first floor has a gorgeous open floor plan that allows for cooking, eating, entertaining, and relaxing in one space. Life revolves around this space which allows for visiting with friends and family while creating memorable meals. The wonderful floorplan has two large sized bedrooms, the laundry room and bathroom on one level, the top level is the master suite. The master suite enjoys built in cabinets, a deck perfect for the morning cup of coffee and viewing the sunrise, and more magnificent view windows. Open the sliding doors the beautiful outdoor space extends the home into nature, enjoy cultivating and harvesting directly from your land. Cook, eat, entertain, and relax in one space with friends and family. In the summer and it feels like a beach house with a deck. Fire up the wood stove in the winter and it feels like a cozy log cabin. Come enjoy cultivating and harvesting directly from your land. There are two lime, one grapefruit, and one an Asian pear tree to the established citrus (lemon, Meyer Lemon, orange) orchard. The three vegetable planting boxes built to produce an incredible amount of food and can be operational all year given the south facing slope and the mild climate here in Novato. Last year the summer vegetable garden included multiple varieties of tomatoes, basil, lettuces, spinach, eggplants, peppers, cilantro, beans, tomatillos, and flowers. The winter gardens had broccoli, kale, Brussel sprouts, peas, arugula, lettuces, and spinach. There is also a wonderful herb garden all around the upper outdoor deck within arm's reach of the BBQ.The house has a magnificent view to the east looking down Domingo Canyon, so there are some positively epic sunrises and harvest moonrises that are images you won't forget.

"Many people walk their dogs here and there is a pretty good dog park. Not everyone is friendly however and many people will actively avoid you if they see you with a dog. This is the opposite of mendocino county where I made lots of close relationships with my neighbors from dog walking. I would not expect that here."
  • Bpnhmyj6cg
"I have lived within walking distance of downtown Novato for over 15 years. In the past five years, I feel the town seems to be making more of an effort to create events. There are a good variety of restaurants and grocery stores. It’s safe and there is great access to nature and hikes, particularly Indian Valley Campus is beautiful. My neighbors are kind and the area is dog friendly. I feel fairly safe, though I would not walk alone at night as a woman. There is some homelessness and I have been harassed before by people who are drunk or on drugs, but this is an issue in any city these days. It’s not frequent. That said, it’s very expensive to live here and it gets very hot! Make sure you have AC"
  • Viny Chu
"I see walking their dogs and smile. They love the fresh air. They have a beautiful view of the countryside. It’s clean and friendly."
  • Viny Chu
"This neighborhood is beautiful. The colors are so vibrant. I love the looks. It makes you feel happy."
  • Nick
"There are numerous dog parks across Novato. Even if you are walking your dog in your immediate neighborhood, the sidewalks and walking paths are pretty clean. Just about everyone is friendly and accepting of dogs on a leash. "
