About this House

**Short term, furnished rental, January - May, 2025.** This well-loved home is in the Eldorado neighbourhood, less than a quarter mile from the Eldorado clubhouse/offices at 1 Hacienda Loop (87508). The exact address will be provided when we have a serious inquiry. The home is a 10 minute drive from Santa Fe, is private and nestled among pinyons, junipers and olive trees on 1.5 acres. The entire house will be yours, apart from the owner's suite, which will be unoccupied during your time here. The two available bedrooms are well separated, each with a private bathroom, making this house a good choice for unrelated travel companions. One of the bedrooms is large, with a comfortable queen-size murphy bed that converts to a desk and whiteboard, if needed. This bedroom also has a cozy seating area with a couch that folds out into a full-sized bed. There is a smart TV and a closet for storage. The smaller second bedroom is cozy, with a comfy full-size bed, closet. The house has a well-stocked modern kitchen, cozy family room with a gas fireplace, front room with kiva fireplace, an office/reading room off the front room (and next to bedroom 2), a solarium with a table and seating, and lovely outdoor spaces, including a side patio with a seating area that can be used on warmer days (or with a blanket!). Sleeper sofas in the office and family room can accommodate short-term visitors. The detached garage provides space for two parked cars. Utilities are included, including 5G internet (Xfinity). The property is close to the Eldorado dog park and your canine pal will be welcome (on approval). The house has a 42" wire dog crate and a collection of dog toys, etc. Eldorado has a shopping area with many amenities (supermarket, gas station, small businesses and stores, restaurants and a brewpub, and a fitness center). The mountain views and sunsets stretch forever and can be enjoyed on the community's hike-and-bike trails.

Utilities are included in the rent up to $300 (discuss with us) and the owners will attend to trash pickup. Fees: We will ask for a $150 cleaning fee and a refundable $2,000 damage deposit. This is a no smoking house but smoking is permitted in the outdoor spaces. As noted in the description, we welcome canine friends, subject to approval, and will charge a nonrefundable $100 pet fee (per approved dog). PLEASE NOTE: This rental is **only** for the period from early January (date negotiable) to mid May or early June, 2025. We will sign a lease for 2-4 months within that period (we prefer a longer lease period, up to 4 months) with the first month's rent and damage deposit to be paid on signing.

"I joined my friend for their tour at Arcadia, and one thing that really stood out was how lively and welcoming the community felt. The office was busy with residents coming in and out — asking questions, saying hello, grabbing packages — and it was clear the team knew everyone by name. We even saw people enjoying the pool and clubhouse, which made the place feel genuinely lived‑in. A few furry residents stopped by for attention too, which honestly made the visit even better. Seeing all that activity made it easy to understand why my friend chose Arcadia as their new home in Santa Fe."
  • Zachary Eannarino
"Our neighbors get together for dinner and drinks. We have restaurants that we can walk to. We enjoy hiking near by as well"
