My daughter attended this school from grades 6-10. She had a horrible experience. Kids bullying, even some teachers bullying her, some teachers not teaching adequately and having favorite students and only helping those students instead of anyone who needed help. 7th grade teacher assigned students a college level project, which almost every student failed. Awards always going to the same students coincidentally who had parents working in the school district or to students whose families were wealthier with well known last names. This was some years ago... 2010's...No, I do not recommend this school. I doubt it has changed

I had 2 children attend this school. One child from grades 1-5 and the other child from grades k-4. This was in the 2010's. My first child liked most of their teachers, except the 5th grade teacher. They did well in school and participated in activities. Bullying was a big problem however. We had issues with the 5th grade teacher, so we had a meeting with the principal and they basically made excuses. Nothing was ever done about the bullying of my first child. My 2nd child loved kindergarten and 1st grade, made lots of friends. Then 2nd grade and the bullying started and it was their so called friends doing the bullying. It was so bad that my child would be sobbing every morning going to school. This went on until we moved during 4th grade. Had meetings with the school about the bullying and was told well that's how kids are now, they bully starting at younger ages and to just deal with it. Was told the guidance counselor would do lessons with the kids regarding bullying. Never happened. Kids with certain well known last names or who had parents working in the school district always got all the awards and praise. Kids with wealthier families as well. I don't recommend this school due to how they handle bullying and favoritism of certain students.
