The school is absolutely horrible. Kids vape all the time, and the school does not seem to do enough to stop it. Bullying is also a big problem, and when the school does step in, it often feels like the person who was right gets punished instead.The school barely fixes the boys bathroom which is constantly broken resulting in locking the bathroom altogether, graffitied with swastikas, and also kids vape in their just blowing smoke away from the smoke detector and getting away with it. Not to mention the bathroom isn’t the only place people vape, it's also the bus.I also do not like I-Ready. In my opinion, it is not a good use of taxpayer money. I do not think it teaches students very much, yet we still get graded on it. The diagnostic tests are also inaccurate and can place students in lower classes, which can affect their future. The old NWEA tests seemed much more accurate, yet they counted for nothing. My friends and I also get lessons on topics we already know or topics we have never learned before.The way students are placed into advanced classes also does not seem fair. It feels like some classes give students an advantage while others do not, making it harder for some students to get into the classes they deserve.I am not in the special education program, but I have not heard good things about it. I also think the school ID policy is unnecessary. Students have to wear color-coded lanyards all day, and by the end of the year the school ran out of holders and didn’t replace them even though they apparently cared about them so much.If you are a parent thinking about sending your child here, I would seriously think twice. I would especially be concerned if you want your child to attend classes or if they struggle with mental health. Also, do not let the reading and math statistics fool you, because they do not show the full picture of what the school is really like.

Our experience with Paul D Schreiber Senior High School has been outstanding. The curriculum is rigorous, and the AP course offerings are extensive, preparing students exceptionally well for college. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and genuinely care about each student’s success, while the guidance counselors are incredibly dedicated, truly getting to know each student and helping them find the best path forward. Extracurricular activities are vibrant, with an amazing variety of clubs, sports, and the band, fostering a thriving social life and well-rounded development. The school community is welcoming, hardworking, and focused on what truly matters in education—not just chasing the latest trends. It’s truly an exceptional learning space where students are supported and motivated to achieve their very best. The level of dedication in ensuring students are accepted into top colleges is simply unparalleled. We couldn't be happier with our choice of Paul D Schreiber Senior High School.

The new principal has done a great job of reaching out to parents and making families feel involved in their child's education. The staff overall are extremely pleasant, friendly and treat the children like their own. The encouragement and teaching standard is very high - my son comes home asking very interesting questions and has dramatically improved his reading ability.
