"I constantly see people walking their dogs which I love so much cause I feel like I never use to see anyone walking their dogs their dogs growing up never have I stepped in anything let alone seen it left behind. "
  • Kimberly Tucker
"Annual Pumpkin Festival in French Memorial Park attracts vendors from the tri-state area. Locals really look forward to this. Downtown antique shops. Great schools. "
  • Kimberly Tucker
"Some roads have sidewalks. Some don’t. So you may end up walking them in the road. We do have a dog park now though. "
  • johane
"I have only lived in Seymour for about 3 years. Thus far it’s been a good experience from the perspective of raising a family. There really is not much to do in Seymour but we’re located close enough to other communities that have better shopping, dining, and recreation options. I am pleased with the school overall."
  • johane
"I don’t like that dog owners let their dogs out in their front yards unattended because I don’t appreciate being barked at on my walks."
  • Debkadice
"Dog owners would not like the neighborhood because no one enforces the leash laws or other dog laws or ordinances "
  • Cherylanncarlson
"lived here 11 years. our neighbors are great, friendly and we all help each other our. there are people who walk dogs on leashes in the cul-de-sac."
  • Jose H. Q.

"We have cancer walks every October. The town loves to host Trunk or Treats at Seymour High school. There are parades. It's a nice "homie" feel in Seymour. I love it here and I'm a girl from the Bronx NY! "
  • Meghana R.
"Lived here for 4 years. quiet and safe neighborhood. There are plenty of trails to walk and explore. No sidewalks and the street lights are few and far between. Absolutely need a car. But other than that it's a nice place to live."
  • Hritterct
"Schools are close. Wish people would drive much much slower in the neighborhood. I grew up here. Not the same as it was but still ok. Easy commute. Convenient to RT 8 and Waterbury/Bridgeport. Many local stores. Parks nearby. Good place to start. Convenient to many local attractions and museums. Colleges within a 30 minute commute. Seymour is the best of the Naugatuck valley towns to live it. Wish folks would clean up their trash though. "
  • Casey G. .

  • Bac7162
"People walk their dogs in this area. Different kinds of dogs and their owners always carry a roll of poop bags so I assume they are diligent about cleaning up any mess. "
