"There are many families in the area, nice parks and good schools. There are also grocery stores near by. As well as as all kind of restaurants and take outs. I love the easy access to the freeways 5 and 8 and of course the immediate proximity to the airport (but without the noise). The train also runs down the hill. I really love my neighborhood, the diversity of people, the lovely old homes and everyone is so friendly. "
  • Trulia User
"Maybe it’s not walk friendly all through Hillcrest but it really depends on the person and the dog. "
  • Trulia User
"Usually quiet neighborhood, close to stores and school. Safe for families who are conscious about their children and their safety. "
  • Ctruffa
"The area has very narrow streets and cars are everywhere. It is tough to find parking and driving is tight with two lanes acting as one. "
  • Joan T.
"Mission Hills is convenient to anywhere in San Diego. I-5, I-8, the 163 and the 805, are all easily accessible from anywhere in Mission Hills."
  • Mauricesongs
"Some yards were a little unkempt, other than that...everything seems pretty chill, neighborly, easy to access and cool. "
  • Johndoe
"free summer concerts in the park at pioneer Park. the tennis courts across the street from pioneer Park."
