9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is still much discrimination at this school. Some white kids with throw the N word around like its nothing. LGBT kids are treated like they are 2nd class. A lot of the teachers are like this too. Some teachers are good but a lot don't teach and you have to do it yourself. A lot of kids here don't respect adults or people that are different from them. Anything they do for "mental health" is to make them look better. My mental health keeps dropping every day I go. They only care about appearing like they are some outstanding school. Please don't let your kid go here. I'm only making it through this because of the few friends and few teachers that make this school bearable. I don't think the parents reviews really shine light at what going on here because they don't go and experience life here. You might get good grades here but unless you are the cookie cutter they want, you're mental heath will suffer.Student Review11mo ago10 Reviews - Durham Intermediate School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Durham. The new Principal and the fantastic teachers making learning fun while maintaining high standards. There is a very involved PTO and everyone is welcome to support the school. Durham has a small town feel with great opportunities.Parent Review3y ago4 Reviews - Carroll Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a substitute, subbing here was amazing! The students were very polite and they are ready to learn! I was impressed with how they behaved. The faculty/staffs were very welcoming! One of the teachers asked me to join their table during lunch time so I don't feel alone! Wow! I would definitely come back and sub there again!Other Review12y ago4 Reviews - Carroll High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school. We have 2 kids in high school and one in elementary school. Please note that the Great School scores are incorrect because this campus is only for first years and sophomores. Otherwise, it would be one of the best schools in Texas.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near 199 Summit Ave.

"Southlake is So close to DFW AP, Dallas and Fort Worth. I can literally get to the airport and park and be at my gate in 20 minutes. And the. Ona Friday I can be at the Stockyards in Fort Worth in 35 minutes. "

"The commute isn’t terrible except for at peak times. The construction on key highways has created a bottleneck unfortunately making it a challenge to get through main thoroughfares quickly. Once construction subsidies, it seems as if it should be reasonable. During off peak hours, it’s very manageable and quite convenient to downtown Dallas and other surrounding communities."

"In my area of northern Southlake, properties are large and have more than fifty feet of front and back yards. Properties are well fenced so pets have plenty of space to play and roam unattended with fenced areas. "

"High quality homes, spacious lots, choice of Southlake OR Trophy Club/Northwest schools. For anyone looking for a quiet place to settle down, raise a family this neighborhood has to be one of the best in the USA. Everyone is friendly, neighbors look out for each other - including kids and pets. Frequent neighborhood get-togethers make it easy to get to know people. Homes are immaculately kept. Highly recommended!"
