This was the best school I ever attended. I was here pretty much all my elementary school years. Everything was always positive and calm. The special education program was very good. And I don’t know if they still do it, but battle of the books was very great. The teachers are also great. Definitely the only school I remember fondly. The only thing I didn’t like was you weren’t allowed to talk at lunch when the music was playing. If it would’ve been some music other than opera music, the Forrest Gump theme song, or the Beatles on piano though, it’d have been fine. Maybe they’ve changed that, if not though, I’d recommend something that appeals to today’s youth, like instrumental pop or country. I’m in 10th grade now and this school definitely influenced me for the better.

They have given up on us we don´t get what we need to learn

I have students here and we love northwest. As a parent, they reach out when there is an issue/problem. My kids love their teachers (for the most part, but even the teachers they aren't crazy about are caring...they just teach subjects they don't enjoy). & most importantly, they know, love, & TRUST their administrators & counselors (Each grade has their own). It's not a perfect school and there are definitely behavior issues, but there's also accountability. We were nervous about middle school, but a couple of years in and my kids are thriving
