"I’ve lived here for almost two years and enjoyed the area. Shopping is fairly close also and prices aren’t too bad"
  • J. Polangin
"My neighborhood has minimal public transportation and with the extreme cold a vehicle is critical during the winter months "
  • J. Polangin
"We don’t see the neighbors much. Most people seem to keep to themselves. This is a quiet neighborhood."
  • Sammiegirlie24
"Not enough apartments are pet friendly, and it is common to have free roaming dogs, and people don’t pick up after dogs."
  • Cedric S.
"Some around this area are stuck in their ways on the topic of racism, but most aren’t. Outside of that, ive enjoyed living here for the past 3 1/2 years!"
  • Mindy R.
"Dogs run loose and the owners never take responsibility. Hardly anyone has a fenced in yard. There is a awesome dog park in Fairbanks. "
  • Jay_tonya2002
"The neighborhood is safe and close to all North Pole schools, shopping, and dining. Easy access to highway a 15 minute commute to Fairbanks or to Eielson AFB."
  • Kayne G.
"Kinda long but with such light traffic it’s pretty easy. Some days you might catch every light, even then it’s no longer than 20 minutes."
  • Kayne G.
"Not all dog owners are equal. Some are amazing and some need to kindly give their dogs up for adoption. As a result you see a wide spectrum of dog and behaviors from those dogs, so stay on your toes as you meet dogs around here."
  • Dlgrabner
"No public transportation Great neighbor as long as you stay on your property I love the town of north pilemitslef. Just 2 days ago Santa waved at me while he was walking to the store "
  • Memurphr

  • Homeinalaska
"not sure about that as i don’t own a dog. yet there is plenty of space to walk them if you want. all kinds of trails"

"There is a food truck night held by the North pole worship center, and anything to with Christmas is bound to be huge. there was a classic car show last weekend as well."

  • For S.
"the people here are friendly and keep to themselves. close to grocery stores and restaurants. a few parks in the area and walking distance to schools."

"A lot of unleashed dogs roaming around. And we are pretty close to mission road where there is a lot of traffic. So some people may worry about their pets getting hit by a car if they aren’t on a leash. "
  • Smokeyak
"Quit neighborhood and there are some friendly neighbors also. During the winter you can see the Aurora. "
  • Dnochambers
