Description

We have a lovely 700 sqft ground floor apartment 1 mile from downtown Homer. We love using this space for friends, family & hospitality. It's got what you need to stay for a day, two months or a year. Completely separated from the rest of the home this one story apartment has its own entrance. With queen bed, bathroom/shower, full kitchen with dishwasher & washer/dryer. Technically it would be considered a studio because there is no door between the bedroom and kitchen but feels bigger than that. You can set up an additional Queen bed & childrens beds in the space as well (or in the walk in closet). Ideal for one or two people living there. It's small for a family but you're welcome to use mattresses on the floor when you have guests. We have a big grass yard with a view of the mountains and a fire pit you're welcome to use. Our house Has three levels, and this is the lower level. You'll have access to this level of the house and the yard with plenty of room for parking.

We are a 4 minute drive from the beach and on the paved walking path to town. You can walk to work in town. We the home owners live upstairs so you'd need to be comfortable with that.

We prefer a lease Sept 15th - April 15th or more long term. We understand if plans change, and could be open to a shorter or longer lease, but we don't really want someone leaving before Feb.

The $1250 per month includes all:
electric ($75-150 elsewhere),
water/sewer ($40-100 elsewhere),
trash pickup most of the time (unavailable here)
gas heat ($75-150 elsewhere) &
snowplowing (usually $140 per month elsewhere Dec-Mar), and
internet (if you/we don't need unlimited - but if so, that would be another $40 per month- or use your hotspot)

The apartment can be as furnished or not as you like - depending on what you have.

Definitely NO PETS (except maybe a goldfish), no smoking or vaping on property.

Tenant is responsible to take trash to dump occasionally, and communicate well regarding other needs.
