Description

Comfortable and bright one-level home in a quiet cul-de-sac in SW Bend, situated on a half-acre. For rent by owner. Several upgrades have been made to the home since purchase in '22, including: three bathroom renovations (brand new master w/ steam shower, heated floors), upgraded electrical throughout (inc. EV charger), attic and crawl space insulation, new hot water heater and furnace for efficiency, and more.

We use the home as a three bedroom with two office spaces, but it has many potential configuration options. The large family room space pictured was previously used as a master bedroom as it has an attached bathroom. One of the home's benefits is that there is a nice social flow to the kitchen and living room space, and even into the 350ft back deck. We find hosting friends and family to be easy here. The kitchen has room for a 10-person dining room table. Property will be unfurnished. Home has central heating and AC. We will leave the washer and dryer!

In the back yard there is a storage shed with plenty of space for holiday decorations, additional home goods, lawn equipment, etc. The garage comes with built in storage racks, which are staying as well. There is also a gravel area on the side of the home for trailer/toy parking if needed (pre-approval by homeowner required).

What we are looking for in renters:
People that will care for our property, first and foremost. To us that includes communicating when things need attention or a service visit and being proactive about staying on top of required maintenance. We also value finding tenants that will be a good fit for the neighborhood, as the neighborhood is quiet (we have small kids so we don't expect you to make no noise but if you're trying to host loud parties this is not the property for you). The lease term can be flexible with a minimum of 1 year.

It's available to rent on Sunday, July 6th.

Renters will be required to handle yard maintenance and pay utilities. Open to cats and/or dogs but considered on a case by case basis with a small additional deposit or pet rent. There is a septic system on-site.

Downtown and the Old Mill provide plenty of shopping and dining opportunities. Summers are short, but filled with an abundance of outdoor things to do. We spend several days a week kayaking on the river, or one of the many Cascade Lakes, which are about a 25 minute drive. "
