This school is not very good for the reasons I will list below:1. Students mainly socialize by race and gender, very little cross gender interaction.2. Does not deal effectively with bullying, like when people have been attacked and the school did nothing.3. PE is not very safe, with mile runs at 5mph+ average speed in hot weather.4. The punishments are extremely unequal, such as suspension for self defense and only detention for bringing a weapon to school.5. Vaping occurs in the bathrooms and the school does not do much about it. 6. Students share exploits and ways to bypass the web filter in the open.

Collins Elementary is an incredible school that provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students. The teachers are dedicated, and the sense of community among families is truly special. The school fosters strong connections between students, parents, and staff, making it a wonderful place for learning and growth.The leadership at Collins has been exceptional. Past and present principals have provided phenomenal guidance, and even retired staff members remain deeply committed to the school. One example is a former principal who continues to return daily to coach basketball, contributing to the school’s long-standing success in the sport. This level of dedication speaks volumes about the staff’s investment in student development, both academically and beyond.In addition to a strong academic foundation, Collins encourages parental involvement through events and volunteer opportunities like Project Cornerstone, helping to build meaningful, lasting connections within the community.Collins Elementary is a place where children thrive, not only in their studies but also in character and confidence. It’s a fantastic choice for any family looking for a well-rounded, supportive, and engaging school experience.

When it was time for my two kids to start high school, we heard a few mixed rumors, but our experience over the last couple of years has been absolutely fantastic. If you’re looking for a school that reflects the real world and has a super supportive, down-to-earth community, FHS is exactly that.The teachers here are seriously amazing and genuinely care about the students as human beings, not just test scores. My kids have felt so seen and supported by the staff. One of my kids joined the marching band, and I cannot emphasize enough how incredible that program is—it has taught them so much about teamwork, time management, and commitment. The school also has some amazing pathways like their CTE programs and engineering classes that actually let kids do hands-on, real-world projects instead of just memorizing a textbook.What I really love most about Fremont is the overall vibe. While a lot of the other high schools in the area can feel like hyper-competitive pressure cookers, FHS is wonderfully diverse and grounded. It feels like a place where kids can actually just be kids, figure out what they are genuinely passionate about, and still get a top-tier education. The parent community is also super welcoming and involved, especially when it comes to supporting the arts and athletics. My kids are thriving here, and we honestly couldn't be prouder to be a Firebird family
