9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am not sure who left the positive reviews, because what they wrote does not reflect the situation in this elementary school. Some of the school office stuff abd district employees are also parents and their own children have, those kids are treated exeptionally well. So I assume it's them. What you need to know: 1.It is very hard to be a parent of a student at Plum Canyon Elementary. Most of the issues are from the lack of organization. The administrators in this elementary school could care less about parents, so they do things that work for them. They will invite parents of the entire grade (6 classes at least 10 kids are nominated from each class and most have 2 parents and sometimes also grandparents). There is almost no seating. Most of the parents are standing in a packed room for an hour and a half. Could they have nominations for 2-3 classes at the time? Yes, they could, but they prefer to do it in one day, because it is convenient for them.2.There is a huge problem with bullying in this school. They do not do anything and they just punish a child if they hit/push back or even cry, because it is inconvenient for them to take measures to stop bullying, they just switch the responsibility to the children and require them to take the hit.3.Being a parent of a child with a disability or anything unusual in appearance or speech is walking on eggshells every. Your child will be bullied. The administrators will ignore it and lie in the reports and postpone the investigation until the last minute. (they apparently have 60 days to investigate each incident, if they start asking kids the same day, the kids tell what kids, who hit looked like and what the kid was wearing. But if you wait two months before you investigate, the kids will not remember what exactly happened, when it happened and it’ll be hard to identify who was involved, so administrators will conclude that bulling could not be proved). The principle is only concern with her employment and compensation, not kids well-being.Parent Review1y ago19 Reviews - Arroyo Seco Junior High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m so glad that my child is at AOC! It’s a small school, about 400 students total, which makes for a tight-knit and welcoming community. My child tells me all the time how everyone is so nice and respectful of one another. At AOC, kids take some college classes at COC, so that upon graduating, they can earn up to 44 units toward their college years and get a lot of their basic college requirements done. The school encourages self-advocacy and maturity, allowing the student to take the lead and preparing them for life in college and beyond. They also teach how the student learns rather than applying the same methods to everyone. I appreciate their group-based and even play-based learning and truly fostering a love of learning and curiosity. I’ve been recommending the school to local friends—it’s a gem in our community.Parent Review1y ago12 Reviews - Check out schools near 19541 Opal Ln.

"This is the only gated community in the Saugus zip code. It is an enclave of 91 homes on 1+ acre lots most of which have gorgeous views. The HOA is low and the benefits huge! Homes in this area do not frequently come up for sale, most who move here rarely move unless change of job and relocation, or downsizing after the children are grown and gone. Circle J Ranch Estates are a gem in the City of Santa Clarita."
