"It’s safe to walk around and there are some parks that you can throw the call for your dog. I wish there were more public trash cans or poop bags to maybe encourage owners to pick up after their dogs. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 2.5 year, it’s a working class Oakland neighborhood.I feel super safe, love walking my dog everyday, and running into my neighbors... I know quite a few, they are all good, friendly, solid people — from ALL walks of like. This mix is one of my favorite Oakland attributes "
  • Timothy F.
"My neighborhood has access to many different buses or bus lines. Also, Uber carpools and other commute lines as well. But I prefer to drive my own vehicle to work. Another good thing about the commute in this neighborhood is that there are multiples freeway entrances going towards both ways so finding an entrance to a freeway isn’t a hassle. "
  • Jazmine T.
"Uber or public transportation such as the bus or Bart. there are a few bus lines just a few blocks away."
