"I feel its a quiet and safe area to raise children in.But except for the YMCA there is not much activity in the summer for teenagers and young children to participate in."
  • Mary J. G.
"I feel like this is a safe place to live but thereโ€™s nothing for children to do in the summer no activities no real parks so itโ€™s not difficult for them to get in trouble .they (the city)needs to provide more activities for young people and teenagers to give them something to do when theyโ€™re not attending school. In thhe summer."
  • Alicia M.
"Just about everyoneโ€™s loves dogs around this area. Most are friendly and well manner dogs. Most people are friend;y enough to wave or say hi. "
  • Trulia User
"Many dog owners walk their pets on the tree-lined streets. People genuinely like dogs here and there is a beautiful dog park for the animals to enjoy."
  • Anita G.

"There a very nice lake walking distance from my house. Great for fishing and swimming. Nice air and great neighborhood beautiful homes and amazing connection to nature as well. I love the family of herons that come into our yard time to time."
  • Daveandkelly2010
"I lived in this area for over 15 yrs and certain neighbors watch out for each other. Others keep to themselves which I like."
  • Trashinstein
"I love the area. low crime and larger lots. Easy to drive any where from here and roads are multi-laned and traffic it light"
  • M
"Great place to live! Nice size yards and a mixture of types of homes. There are families with children and grandparents with grandchildren who visit. A good mixture of everyone. They do drive to fast down the roads so most parents on our road donโ€™t let their children play or ride their bikes on or near the road. Unfortunately thereโ€™s always that negative we all hate to see. All in all itโ€™s a great place for families."
  • Aaron R.
"I don't commute. two main highways run east to west. approx 20 minutes intoaon local town of Inverness "
  • Mmainwaring
"Nice quiet neighborhood - horses allowed! Neighbors are nice - private road - good trails for horses - close to shopping - "
  • Donna Ratcliff
"I've actually lived in 2 different separate homes on this street. I purposely sought out this area ,away from big cities. Quiet old Florida, convenient to Ocala, Inverness, Crystal River. No restrictions !!"
  • Joyce P.
"Great area to live centrally located. Easy to get to Inverness and Ocala. And not far from either Gainesville, Tampa, or Orlando"
  • Rodney
"Hilly so itโ€™s hard to see over hills in the dark so stay in your yard if not well lit. The yards are 1 acre lots so no reason for you to not be able to walk the dog in the yard."
  • Candyw53
"Great dog parks, wonderful first class amenities Pool, spa, golf, tennis and restaurants to name a few"
  • Melodispair
"I have lived here almost a year. Love the dead-end rd. I did have my lawnmower stolen from my shop however. Other than that i enjoy living in this area. "
  • Jawwest69er
