As a minority family coming from a large school district to PL we were skeptical at first, but very blown away with their diverse cultures and community focused goals.The kids volunteer doing food drives for locals in need. I am also a teacher and have subbed in that district for many years and believe that this district is as good as Lawrence Public schools where I taught for many years.
