As a teacher in the Lawrence school this district I can say that What I love most about the Perry Lecompton school District is the attention to students. With small class sizes teachers have the ability to differentiate learning to meet the needs of students. We’ve had a very positive experience.

Perry Lecompton is an very engaged school district. The middle school teachers and admin are down to earth and accepting. As a minority family coming from a large school district to PL we were skeptical at first, but very blown away with their diverse cultures and community focused goals.The kids volunteer doing food drives for locals in need. Teachers have established clubs for entrepreneurship, building, and STCO.

My son attended middle through high school. Teachers to a wonderful job of getting to know the students in meeting their individual needs. I am also a teacher and have subbed in that district for many years and believe that this district is as good as Lawrence Public schools where I taught for many years. The low teacher to student ratio allows teachers to really spend time with the students.
