6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are nearing the end of the 6th grade at Edgewood and did not think I could be more disappointed than I was at the end of the 5th grade. There is absolutely no support for children migrating into the middle school from the elementary school. The transition into a middle school program is huge and very little support is given. They are expected to be organized and sit in classrooms the same as 7th and 8th graders, which is absolutely ridiculous. There is no personalized teaching to help kids who learn differently (not read a book write a paper child) and actually they are punished and dismissed as if their learning is a hassle to have to even teach them. I have reached out numerous times to teachers, counselors, and principals over the last two years with nothing more than my child just needs to try harder. No suggestions on a tutor or ways I can provide more support at home or that the school can provide. It doesn't help that in two years there has been 4 different principals... I don't know what is happening in this school but the board needs to stop turning a blind eye and actually make some changes. The elementary schools are great and over communicate, even the HS communicates and provides additional resources and support for students struggling so I do not understand why it is not the same in the MS. We are currently looking at different options next year, however, switching schools and having a child make new friends at this age can be just as challenging as succeeding academically. If we had the chance to re-do 5th grade and 6th grade we would of definitely open enrolled into a different district.Parent Review1y ago - Wooster High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does offer a lot of other electives/ education opprutiunties than other schools but that doesnt make up about how horrible the staff and the other students are if you want a good education but want your kid to be bullied for being a little bit diffrent , wooster is the school for youStudent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 1935 Brookside Dr #105.

"Nice, kind, kid friendly and patriarchal. If your looking for an Andy Griffin town that has kindness within its own values then you will love it! If your submissive to men then you will fine! "

"Excellent Highway access all directions. Easy on & off ramps, roads are maintained & in good conditions, friendly drivers, most obey speed limits & follow vehicle directional signs. Plenty of gas stations, restaurants and stores near highway access points. Seeing a trend in Gas Stations tearing down & rebuilding Super Travel Stations. New stations are very appealing by design, big city trendy and super nice inside. You can find just about anything you may need for a road trip, cell phone accessories or everyday commuting. A variety of quick foods, gourmet coffees & ice-cold-fruity & colorful-slushy-drinks that would appeal to any age, young or a little older! Safe travels y’all!"

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 5 years. It has a mix of age groups, with families & children of all ages, to post-retired adults. Very Dog friendly! Super safe & neighbors watch out for each other’s homes. Annual Block Parties are held on each participating street. I’d like to meet extended neighbors & prefer that community parties could be held at a local park, like Edgewood!"
