Description

TWO BEDROOM / TWO BATH WOODED RETREAT ON 4 ACRES W/ HOTTUB (UPPER RED HOOK)

We're looking to rent our Hudson Valley House over winter for 5 months from roughly December 1 to roughly May 1. There is some flexibility with the start and end dates. If needing a car is an issue, we can potentially include a 2014 BMW X1, too! The house is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with great light and windows onto the woods (Shields Rd, Red Hook, NY 12571). Perks include an outdoor hot tub (if desired), a property manager if there are issues, a car (if needed), a bluestone patio with fire pit, a screened in porch, split units for heating and cooling, and a workout room in a separate studio where you can also put a house guest for short periods (it's shared with our full time renter on the property who is in a separate house). For anyone who is interested, we can give a tour, either virtually or IRL.

This is our house, but we are leaving for winter. It comes fully furnished. We're asking 2.7k/month w/o hottub, 2.95k/month w/ hottub, and an extra $250/month with the car. Folks shouldn't be afraid to make an alternative offer- our priority is to get someone in who will take good care of the place and will be chill when coordinating with us.

No hidden costs. All utilities covered. This is a 5 month sublet and comes fully furnished.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources. This description is from October 20, 2025
