Child and Pet Friendly - Steps away from the Beach - Privacy Galore!My family loves the rustic character of our older beach front cottage and we hope you will too.Sometimes you can hear the wind whistling through the original single pane windows. You can smell the wood burning fireplace as an occasional draft works it's way down through the hundred year old chimney and fireplace. Some of the original plumbing fixtures remain, working fine, but aged. The original wood floors can creak from time to time and the sand has a way of working itself in through the many crevices that open and close with the humidity of the bay. Some of the doors and windows may not open with ease as they suffer from the same malady. I would like to temper your expectations of our Rustic and Historic Beach Cottage. You can see the water from the porch, sitting room and the main living area of this very cool beach front property. This home features 3 large bedrooms containing very comfortable pillow-top mattresses and high end bedding. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms and a roomy living room and kitchen. It has a very large porch for grilling out (Charcoal Grills) and socializing. We recently installed a 50" Smart TV and WiFi. We have on site parking for two vehicles, with space for 2 more just in front of our garage. Additional parking is available on the street. This set up is perfect for your 4 legged friends - with hardwood floors, don't worry about the sand that is sure to follow you in. Clean up is a breeze. Fall asleep listening to the gentle waves of the Chesapeake Bay. And let the cool breeze blow away the present day stress! Join us with a small step back in time as you enjoy our Rustic Beach Cottage situated right on the beach of the Chesapeake Bay!The Master Bedroom has a Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress - It is Fantastic! The 2nd Large Bedroom also has a Queen Size Pillow Top Mattress - It is also Fantastic! And I just added a Full Size Bed for a few extra guests, if needed. The 3rd Bedroom has 3 Twin Size Pillow Top Mattresses with Memory Foam - the kids will not want to get out of bed
nbsp;Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 112 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage.This unit is completely private and shares nothing with other units - except the semi-private beach. You have private parking, entrances and exits, barbecue grills (charcoal) and a wide, expansive and private back porch. Years ago, two additional units were carved out of this Beach Front Property - one in the attic and one in the basement. I hope you enjoy the rustic nature of this cottage as much as we do!

    "It is great to visit and live here. It is clean and orderly, people are very nice, down to earth and helpful. There are live entertainment sduring the summer months, carnivals and so much more. Drive to city of Norfolk and Virginia Beach is a short distance away. The community are very involve with each other. Overall a great place to be either for vacation or permanent."
