Live in the heart of Millinocket in a newly renovated historic building featuring modern kitchens, original wood floors, natural light, and easy access to shops, and recreation trails. Four units are available for year-round residency as early as December 1st, 2025.
Building and Unit Details
The building is heated with an efficient, modern, and environmentally sustainable wood pellet boiler system. Each unit has supplemental heating and cooling via electric heat pumps.
Utilities Included in rent: Central heat (see note above), trash, recycling, water and sewer.
Electricity and internet service will be the responsibility of the tenant.
Pets allowed with additional agreement and $500 non-refundable deposit.
Apartments are in the final stages of construction. Each of the units vary slightly the pictures give an indication of the specifications and finishes that can be expected throughout each of the units.
Each household member 18 years or older must complete the rental application. Application review begins November 17th and units will be filled on a rolling basis. Apartments will be secured with a signed lease, first month's rent and security deposit equal to one month's rent.
One-year leases are available. Full-time residency is required.
The Northern Forest Center is a non-profit organization formed to create bold possibilities that give rise to vibrant communities across northern Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and New York. Since 2018, the Center has been investing in property redevelopment to contribute to downtown revitalization and the attraction and retention of area workers and families.
