"A friendly environment, cool neighbors and a good place to live. My experience with this area is recommended for anyone who enjoys a quiet space and plenty of security. This is a wonderful opportunity to have plenty of comfort and security. "
  • Colin Borden
"The outdoors are very fun here. It’s a great place for surfers and also it is very family friendly. "
  • Vj5rdbfcgf
"Good people here though not a ton of children really…but people are friendly and it is safe. I feel comfortable going for a walk alone after dark."
  • Savannahmigliuri
"I can’t think of anything that dog owners won’t like other than there isn’t an off leash park nearby. A lot of people walk their dogs around here! "
  • Trulia User
"Our experience is that the mid-town, beaches and overall area are a great place to live! 10+. We walk to the beaches and farmers market, and enjoy the people and sites along the way. The weather is great and so are the beaches. The Avenue has great shops, restaurants, and gathering areas. Always lots of people to meet. I’d highly recommend checking out Ventura ! "
  • Trulia User
"It's common to see kids biking or walking to school in the morning. The neighborhood stays quiet even when the schools let's out."
  • Jacob M. K.
"The nearest dog park is alittle bit of a walk. We drive to Calle real park to take the dog out. The kids also love the park because it’s big and spacious with three dusting playgrounds. "
  • Kellie L.
"Dog friendly, people are pretty good about cleaning up after them, as well as keeping them on a leash when they’re out walking. "
  • Dalia S.
"They will like that everyone is friendly and there is speed limit signals to encourage drivers to slow down for people that are walking dogs "
  • Tylerwelbourn
"The location is great. Central to many restaurants, bars and stores. It’s a bit noisy with the hospital near by - lots of ambulances and cop sirens. Not much of a neighborhood. I’ve lived on Catalina for 2 years and don’t know any neighbors. Wet few people come out of their homes and not very welcoming. "
  • Emulator
"This neighborhood has a good feel to it. I personally like the abundance of fruit trees and low traffic streets."
  • Traciehmiller
"My neighborhood is very walkable and central to the best Ventura has to offer. Having lived here for 30 years must mean I’m pretty happy here"

  • Justinthyme2
