3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in 1st grad and 3times since starting Kindergarten , that I know of he’s been harmed or attacked and I didn’t know until days later. First incident he was riding the bus as a kindergarten and bigger kids attacked him. The second time his knees were skinless from falling from running on sidewalk(he told me) from bus, no note no update. The most recent time (2weeks ago) a parent text me and informed me she was sorry her son hurt my son , I was confused because the school never informed me of any incident and my son went to bed early the night prior so we didn’t talk about his day. Well I asked him later that day once parent informed me and she was right, her son threw a chair at my kid and when speaking to the Principal she stated nothing happened, to it didn’t touch him, to days later, confirmed it barely touched him. Smh. Very disheartening to know my child is not safe at school and without being connected to the community and keeping in touch with parents I would’ve never known because as a kid sometimes you forget and in our case he didn’t want me upset , he said.Parent Review2mo ago5 Reviews - Armstrong High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageArmstrong High School is full of caring teachers and students who are willing and want to learn, unfortunately, there are always a few students, who make it bad, for the school as a whole. What would really make the school better, is to just put the kids who are disrespectful, violent and ignorant beyond measure out! Stop tolerating their foolishness, so the teachers can teach, and the students can learn. It is time to make the students and parents more accountable, and stop putting the total blame on teachers. As a parent, I have been inside Armstrong and seen teachers go the extra mile, with their time, patience and their money, to help the students. Armstrong isn't a perfect school, but it has the potential to be a great school, with the right support from the parents, students and the community.Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 1905 E Grace St.

"Very beautiful nature quite serene, secure neighborhoods people are nice to everybody what Sam right car, generous people in the neighborhood there are condominiums apartments or restaurants. Here we have Sanfaute court here. We have a boat yard marina as well with boats and high-end boats, and we also have the racing boat here at the University of Richmond."

"There are lots of food trucks on occasion, many beautiful historic homes and great food and bars. Truly a wonderful place to live. Not too loud at night as well. "

"Don’t live here; but stopped in this area just north of Rocketts Landing and, it was nice to see transit appears well established; with upgrades to stops clearing in the works, and be able to stop into a well lit BP Station, with a decent Food Mart, and clean restroom (though only one shared use.) "Super close to multiple pulse, GRTC, Main Street station/Amtrak, and 95. Very easy to get around and in the heart of downtown, close to many restaurants, bars, and parks. Also right by the Canal and the canal walk."

"I’ve lived here for 3.5 yrs. Solid restaurants, crappy parking, solid people, and good bars. It is still kind of sketchy at night and I get all of my packages delivered to my place of work. It’s getting more and more crowded and rent keeps going up. Definitely a transitional neighborhood-not a settle down neighborhood "

"I drive and it’s always congestion in the area. So to find a place to park can be a hassle. Wish they would Broaden the parking decks for visitors. "
