"Very dog friendly area. Trails have doggy bags but still see lots of large dog poop in some areas.never see dogs off leash. "
  • Stephanie E.
"I live close to the bike path. A lot of druggie/homeless persons in the area. My car has been broken into, my bike was stolen off the second story balcony. Neighbors for the most part ok. But others are in your personal business. "
  • Stephanie E.
"The bike/walking path is convenient to walk dogs, bike, shorten your walking route. Some areas of the walking path are occupied by the transient community, but I have not had any problems with them personally. "
  • Jessica C.
"Diversity and community of people coming together. Farmers markets and pop up art shows free lunch in the park. Oh yeah and there are tons of parks in this neighborhood "
  • Shandarra Mansfield
"I have lived in the Westmoreland area for 2.5 years and I love it! It's quiet, which is my favorite part. 18th is busy, but once you get about a block away, the noise isn't bad. I walk around the neighborhoods nearby a lot with my dog, even in the dark. I feel safe and a lot of the people are very friendly. You can feel secluded, or you can take a quick walk to the store or a restaurant a few minuets away by car. Most properties are well kept and a few even decorate for the holidays."
  • lisaanderson_ma
"Quiet neighborhood of 13th and Arthur--both of which dead end at the bike path. Close access to bus and shopping without being on busy streets. Schools are close by and accessible by bike path as well by car and bus."
