The principal Mr. Nalic has no backbone and this school is falling apart under his leadership. He is never around to deal with issues at this school. He does not respond to emails and he does not face parents when being confronted. Several classrooms are without a teacher because this principal has not made the effort to hire credentialed teachers and he has to resort to long term substitutes. He does not provide these substitutes with teaching material and the students are not learning anything without a teacher in the classroom. I think the school district needs to do well by this school and put a leadership in place that will actually do their job.

working at this school is horrible, you don't have the support of the administration. In the school there is bullying, drugs, fights, the students take drugs in the bathrooms and classrooms that the teachers leave open and without supervision and the teachers cover them. The deans and the administration know what is happening in the school and they bolt to other side. Students who do nothing wrong always take them to the office with the excuse that they take time in the hallways, they are not fair to the students or the staff. In order to expel a student, they have to write at least 80 pages saying why they should expel the student. but to remove a person from the staff, only the word of the director and vice director is enough. In that case they do not investigate and they do not write the 80 pages to run them only if the school administration agrees and you lose your job. LPSR has two other locations which they are always saying that the other LPSH, LPSO schools are The worst because they are always expelling students. and that LPSR is not going to do the same as they do nothing to investigate the truth of things. they lie to the superintendent. Many people think that having their children and working in a charter school is better than the school district, but they are wrong, charter schools are more corrupt and are afraid to enforce the rules.The school s also full of TFA teachers, which means that your kid is being educated by someone who s had just a few weeks to become a teacher. (And usually with no prior teaching experience.) Do your kid a favor and find a better school.My experience in this school was very horrible. There is a lot of bullying at this school and the school would not prevent bully or stop it. Children would hide in the bathrooms and feel scared of speaking up.
