4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNJH has been about as fantastic an experience as one could ask for in a junior high. At a tough age for kids, Becky Melville and her team have fostered a creative, cooperative, and positive environment. There are a plethora of options and elective classes, and the music and art programs are fantastic. There is room for exploration and growth for everyone at North. I am grateful for all the opportunities given my child during her tenure at NJH. It is a school I'd recommend to any parent looking for solid academics and strong foundations. As an IB MYP school, North embraces the IB principles and makes everyone feel welcome.Parent Review6y ago - L.H. Tanglen Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTanglen is a great neighborhood school with strong leadership, caring teachers and wonderful kids. There is more to a school than test scores, web rankings or district marketing campaigns. Tanglen has small class sizes, engaged teachers and a strong community of parents. Highly recommend checking out Tanglen for your family!Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 19 Union Terrace Ln N.

"It’s not a community event, but one thing I love about this neighborhood is we are located by a pond with a family of swans that come back every year and we all keep each other posted on when they come back, when they have little babies, how many there are and all work together to make sure the babies survive every season. It sounds silly but it’s like our own neighborhood National Geographic network. "
