"There are great paths, parks and hikes. The city is great about providing dog poop bags and placing plenty trash cans thought out the city. "
  • Marknely
"If you work in San Francisco, its an easy walk from old town Tiburon to the ferry. If you need to drive elsewhere, its a 10 minute drive from downtown Tiburon to 101."
  • Lsuslow
"None going on right now. Normally we enjoy concert events, outdoor food festivals, Friday Nights on Main St."
  • TD
"Used my own car, pretty easy driving in thru 101 & back but the inner roads are very narrow. Magnificent views"
  • Mcnallyco
"People keep to themselves in this neighborhood more than I would like actually. There is not a strong sense of community. "
  • Wendy S.
"Dog owners enjoy miles of coastal trails, local Ring Mountain and Blackies Pasture alongside their many dog-loving neighbors. Coyotes are a growing issue—they are fearless and seen in residential areas in daylight hours. "
  • Sandie P.
"I am Retired and do not commute but the freeway is close. Location is close to San Francisco by ferry, bus or car."
  • Steve Weibel
"It's a friendly neighborhood with beautiful views of the bay and hills. Its close to the city yet feels like the countryside."
  • Spencer S
"First off Tiburon is simply beautiful. Water view from almost everywhere and beautiful landscapes. Everyone here is very friendly. "
  • Alan A.
"It's generally comparatively safe, but occasional incidents of theft, burglary, etc. have happened. Tough to find safer places in metro areas outside of gated communities. "
  • Lisa
"have to drive to flat areas for some and for others access to open trails we live in a great place for dog owners "
  • Wendy S.
"The Bel Aire neighborhood in Tiburon is a family’s dream. Flat, sidewalks, filled with kids attending the local schools, easy access to a few shops to make for easy grocery shopping and some independence for growing children. Halloween is a sight to behold. The decorations are festive and hundreds come to the area for trick or treating and parties. The housing stock is a little uninspired—simple ranch homes that people expand and fix up. There aren’t any great views, which many people might find unacceptable in a place like Tiburon. But it’s sweet, charming and geared toward family living in one of the most prized towns in the Bay Area."
  • Spencer
"We are a quick ferry ride to the city but are surrounded by nature. The views are incredible! There are so many friendly people in our neighborhood. "
  • Aliceshoua
"It’s a very cool and chill neighborhood with young families and original owners (from the 60’s) living here. People are friendly and unlike most neighborhoods in Tiburon I hang out with and am friends with my neighbors."
  • Aliceshoua
"Beautiful town with nice people. Schools are unbelievably good and I feel my daughter is safe when she goes to ā€œhang outā€ in Tiburon’s cute down town area."
  • bomarone
"Fabulous Schools, easy commute to San Francisco, Best hiking and outdoor recreation"
  • bcd411
"lived here for 15 years, put two kids through the best schools in California right here"
