The home is located just 1.5 miles from Pott's Point Preserve and 1.3 miles from Stover's Cove Beach, with deeded water access only a 4-minute walk away. From the shore, enjoy beautiful views toward Orr's and Bailey Islands and watch lobster boats making their way through Merriconeag Sound. While the beaches and preserves are wonderful for exploring in warmer weather, the peaceful setting and scenic surroundings make this an especially relaxing place to call home during the quieter winter season.

Inside, Sweet Retreat has everything you need for an extended stay. The well-equipped kitchen provides plenty of opportunity for cooking and enjoying meals at home, while the dining area comfortably seats six. The cozy reading nook and sun-drenched living room offer inviting spaces for relaxing, reading, or enjoying a quiet afternoon. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms, including two with queen beds and one with two twin beds. The second floor includes a full bathroom with a shower and a convenient half bath off the stair landing. An additional full bathroom with a shower/tub combination is located in the basement.

The spacious fenced-in yard provides room to enjoy the outdoors when weather permits, while the covered porch and garden area add to the home's year-round charm. A propane grill is also available for outdoor cooking.
