Love Bountiful Elementary! Great PTA that supports the students with fun and meaningful activities that involves students, family and staff! Small school with personal attention. My son has been there since kindergarten and now in fifth grade and he has been happy there every year!!

I attended this school in 2021. I didn't even finish the school year because of how awful my experience was. I was heavily bullied, and staff did nothing about it, even when I would go to the front office/counselors in tears. They did not take me seriously. One particular experience I'll never forget is when I was waiting for my bus after school, and a group of boys approached me and started disrespecting my family, making fun of the way I look, calling me slurs, etc. It got to the point I pushed one of the boys and told him to leave me alone. And I got in trouble, not him. They did not hold him accountable whatsoever, and I wasn't the only person he was doing this to. Some time passes, and they make him student of the month despite the fact not only me, but my friends and countless others would go to the office trying to report his behavior. I did not feel safe or welcomed at this school. The racism was THROUGH THE ROOF. I hope the school has changed since then, but I wouldn't be surprised if it has stayed the same.

As a student, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Woods Cross. Well-known for their academic excellence, their other accolades are nothing to scoff at either. As always, the music program goes above and beyond expectations, usually sweeping the board in state competitions. WX claims a sizable agriculture department, something that nearby high schools can't boast of. Honors and AP enrollment has reached nearly 50% of the students. Athletics have really picked up in the last couple of years. Extracurricular activities, including service opportunities are stressed. What I personally loved the most about Woods Cross were the feelings of unity, school spirit, and inclusion. Despite the wide range of economic backgrounds, it felt as if we were all treated the same, as respectable students of WX High School. It is a very disciplinary school, but still more lax than some junior highs I attended. After having also attended Bountiful High for a semester, I can attest to the superior friendliness and acceptance that the student body of WX tended to show. My only complaint would be about the smaller size of the building and the outdated style, two things Bountiful holds over Woods Cross.
