its not the best school, but its not the worst, definitely a lot of drugs at school. they definitely need higher security.the kids here dont seem to care too much , some kids do but most of them dont they all care about vapes/nicotine.

Great school with good teachers that encourage students to learn and thrive, the orchestra program is excellent, no issues with bulling, the buildings are clean and like brand new, just one negative thing to tell is that coach McKay and coach Sanchez are bullies to girls in volleyball. They probably never played the game and pretend they know what they are doing, and obviously don’t know how to treat girls at that age.

This school offers a strong dual language program, and there are several dedicated and caring teachers. However, the overall culture was not a good fit for our family. Based on our experience, I perceived a divide between dual language and monolingual students. My son would sometimes repeat comments he heard from peers suggesting that students in the dual language program were “smarter” or “better,” which was concerning to us as parents.I have always been an involved parent and volunteered at the school initially, but I eventually chose to step back because I personally felt uncomfortable with the overall parent and staff culture. That said, there are teachers here who clearly care about their students and work hard.The school was responsive in putting accommodations in place on paper for my child, and I believe staff members were making genuine efforts. However, from my perspective, broader systemic limitations made it difficult to consistently implement supports. My daughter, who had previously enjoyed school, became very distressed while attending. Although communication with her teachers was frequent and appreciated, we often felt pressure to pick her up early, which created additional stress for our family.Ultimately, this school may be a good fit for some students, particularly those who thrive in the dual language program, but it was not the right environment for our children.
