This Townhouse is available to end of March 2026 and the owners will return from their European assignment end of October 2026. With the right person we can be quite flexible with the dates.

Located on a quiet and tree-lined circle, this tastefully furnished and well-maintained home offers both convenience and charm. The house is furnished in a contemporary style, with an emphasis on quality textiles and light woods, and it has been well cared for by the owner, that is temporarily relocating to Europe. The kitchen is highly functional and modern, with a dining area that comfortably seats six and which opens out on the deck (with an outdoor set that seats six) and garden. Off the kitchen is a formal dining area (seats up to 14) and living room with gas fireplace. The living room opens out onto the wood deck and lush garden (birch, fig, orange and lime trees, roses), and among other things features a large, plush sofa and tasteful entertainment cabinet.
This house is being rented fully furnished, and the owner is considering entrusting the tenant with all furnishings, electronics, and housewares.

Both bedrooms are upstairs, and and the master bedroom opens out on a balcony that overlooks the garden. The room has cathedral ceilings, and is furnished with care and an emphasis on natural woods; furniture includes a queen-size bed with a high-quality mattress, nightstands, an armoire, as well as 2 easy chairs. It has ample closet space. The second bedroom has a cathedral ceiling as well and it's own bath/shower. Upstairs, on the landing, is an office area that overlooks the leafy entryway to the house. There is an additional guest bathroom downstairs.

This house features a garage, washer & dryer, and access to the community pool/Jacuzzi, tennis court; it is a very short walk from Heather Farms park, the Contra Costa Canal Regional Trail, as well as grocery and drug stores (Safeway, CVS, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's). The Pleasant Hill BART station is located five minutes away by car, and buses run frequently to and from the station during rush hour.

We are looking for responsible, professional, and financially solvent tenants, who will not only pay rent on time, but who will also care for this home with a gentle hand. This house is not your average rental unit, and we will do our best to make sure to find tenants who will appreciate and care for it as thoughtfully as possible. The ideal tenants are professionals, who temporarily work in the East Bay, or who may be transitioning to the West Coast.
Due to some updates, this home will be available for touring end of January 2026..
