My daughter completely loves this school. The teachers truly care about the children. Since we have moved here from belton school district my daughter has gone from pretty much failing to close to be a straight A student. The teachers want the children to succeed in both school and life. Best school yet. Awesome extracurricular classes great business classes. I highly recommend this school.

They emphasize and promote intensive teaching with competent teachers who promote a culture of learning and development mostly due to the compensation the school receives when the students perform on state tests.. This a positive in every way where all the students and the school benefits...If they didn't have an incentive, this school would perform at average or below standards due to the the area which is economicly disadvantaged and where English is a second language for many if not he majority...I applaud the state for setting the school up this way...it is a win win for all of its students regardless of their background....

Love this school. My son was accepted to the G/T program where they children stay in that class for the entire day. Miss Miller was excellent!

The front desk woman are very rude not people oriented. I bring my daughter in the front office and the women will not speak to me and treat me invisible. The atmosphere is unwelcoming and negative energy in the room.My daughter got to a point where she was very unhappy a huge shift in her behavior and overall mood. She became very scared to come to school and will cry when I brought her to school. She even told me in front of her teacher she was afraid to leave me. My daughter is a sweetheart very friendly and people oriented. However, I withdrew her and told the front office and they still kept her enrolled almost a week and she more absence on her record. I’m glad my daughter is doing better and she is happy to be away from Austin. I’ll never bring my daughter to this campus again. I was told by people Oppe is the best school on the island.

my child was shamed in front of the entire school for not reciting the pledge, even though she stood up and stood quietly.

I would want to accomplish my dream goal experiment in becoming a professional massage therapist.
