"Most people are scared of dogs here unless you’re on Main Street ( very breed racist) and many wild dogs and cats I don’t like walking my dogs here because of the scared people. They literally will talk about your dog scream or run away. It’s annoying and awful to live here with animals unless you want to always pay for a dog park. "
  • Dmb11192
"i grew up in Speedway, and we have lived here now since 1996, raised 3 girls and loved the small town feel, and 4 star schools"
  • Rhiannon M. K.
"the 500 speedway race track. the speedway shopping center. minutes from downtown. I like living here. "
  • Josie B.
"No not unless it’s a house. Majority of people don’t maintain good dog ownership. A lot of not nice dogs. With poor owners. Not the dogs fault tho"
  • Hailey
"Its like living on a piece of moldy bread. Theres some bad areas all around but you happen to be in the one good area"
  • Mallory_mccloud
"Small school system with small class size. The teachers are among the highest paid in the state so they work hard for our kids."
  • Perezebriel
"I think this place is getting better good school and neighborhood, close to motor race speed way and safety, the police give you a fast answer "
  • Nolimitzproperties
"It's a good place for dog's to walk around and play with their owner in the neighborhood.A great area to live."
  • Stinsonkaitlyn
"Great Area Great People. Everyone Minds Their Own Business For The Most Part Neighbors Are Always Nice And Willing To Help. "
  • Wheelera
"There are no school buses in our community because all the elementary schools are small and within the neighborhoods."
  • Melissa D.
"A town within the city of Indianapolis, Speedway has its own Police and Fire Department, Schools, and town government. This is a great place to live and work with its small town feel but the conveniences of a large city."
  • Anne A. J. D.
"We currently own the home and have lived here since 1975. The schools are excellent and the revitalized Main Street is only a block away. We are close to downtown and the interstate is a few minutes away which gives access to north and sour easily. Crime in this area is low. Great place to raise a family."
  • Donna s.
" A unique community, Speedway is currently working on a redevelopment plan which will make it even nicer than it already is. Known for their great schools. "
  • ahrae03
"We have now lived here for two years and we love it! It is so quiet! I live around retirees that have lived here for 30+ years. The only two downfalls: They pay 1/2 gas and water but they are not accurate about it! They take the reading of the building and split it up 4 ways between the 4 apartments , so if youre like us and are not home due to work but you have people around you who are home ALL day and never leave, you're probably going to be paying more than you should. The other downfall is they are not the greatest about keeping up on the pools. They opened late, and they do qick-fixes on them, so last year we only had a pool for around a month. but other than that we love this place!"
