I was quite nervous about the transition from elementary to middle school. What a great school for my kids. Committed teachers, unique clubs to get involved with, sports, interesting electives. I'm grateful for the top notch local schools.

Our experience with Moraga School District has been deeply problematic and concerning. Overall, the district’s leadership shows a lack of transparency, empathy, and compliance, creating an unsafe and inequitable environment for students and families. When you ask them to fix it they generally make it worse If your child has special needs, be aware that this district has repeatedly demonstrated that they avoid providing required services, violates timelines, and disregards state and federal special education laws. Families are often given the runaround rather than the support their children are entitled to. The district has demonstrated little awareness of genuinely understanding of special needs, ADA, 504 and IEPn only how to get out of it. If your child has special needs, this is probably not the district for you. The school does not provide a safe or responsive environment, when parents raise legitimate concerns or ask for corrections, the district often retaliates or makes matters worse instead of resolving issues. Superintendent Julie Parks and the Moraga School Board repeatedly failed to ensure accountability. Formal complaints have been routinely ignored, and when the district mishandles something, it is rarely corrected. Principal Tumulty @ Los Perales has been nonresponsive and dismissive, if she does respond her conduct toward families can feel derogatory rather than supportive. We have witnessed her fail to respond to parents and then pull students aside and cause an issue with them. When we asked her to make the school safe on various occasions, she failed to respond. It appears to us that staff does not care because when the parents are then forced to escalate or sue its not on any individual to be responsible. We love the neighborhood and are sad to feel forced out of this school due to failure to honor our rights, failire to provide services, failure to resolve complaints, and retaliation against our family for filing complaints

Even though I never got a 4 years at campo the 2 and a half years there have truly traumatized me and I will forever live with some of these things. I was bullied and harasses non stopped in the hall ways, classrooms, bathrooms, at games. I was being called slurs as well as sexually harassed. It got to a point where I was so scared to go to school because I didn't know what I was going to be called today or if I would be shaved into a locker on "accident" again. I did report these things and the VP and the time who is no longer there but now at the middle school would always side with the boys who were sexually harassing me and always defending them. I now have a had time going to school because of all the trauma going to Campolindo high school I was so exited to start high school but Campolindo has truly ruined the whole high school experience. I would never recommend this school to everyone in my life.
