8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'd like to respond to some of the other reviews as an active student at Ingraham High School. Ingraham is one of the most academically sound and intense schools in the PSE as a result of their IB program. If the low AP enrollment scares you away then don't worry, it's because students are taking IB; which is significantly harder. Essentially all of the teachers are very well trained and have been working in their respective fields for many years. There are always some teachers you wont like but In my personal experience I've been very happy and formed a great connection with all of mine.To the other post saying "just do running start" don't be misguided. Running start is a great option for many students, but IB tends to prepare you a lot more for college readiness and looks a lot better on college applications. If you're trying to just get college credits and be able to drop a year or two of college then sure, do running start. But if you're trying to get into an academically rigorous and respected four year college, do IB. It's like comparing apples and oranges. They have all kinds of trade-school programs WITHIN the school, exceptional SEL opportunities and a full time social worker and many mental health staff, drug interventionists, therapists, and a fully anonymous doctor's clinic within the school for students. This is a place where I, and essentially ANY other student regardless of their academic incline will be taken care of for their future, whether it be in regards to job training, additional schooling, or securing post-highschool plans. I would strongly recommend sending your student to Ingraham for any student in the PSE area. Please, take my advice.TLDR; Ingraham is a very good school that spends a lot of time helping students with all kinds of things. 100% send your student there over any other SPS school.Student Review2mo ago10 Reviews - Robert Eagle Staff Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ok compared to others. But it's not great. Some teachers care about your wellbeing and support you, while others do not care about your needs or your wellbeing. If you have social anxiety, or fear of big crowds this school will be hard for you. The school lunches also lack basic needs. The homework often feels useless, and the teachers lack to find roots of problems and take care of them properly. The school neglects some things.Student Review3mo ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 1823 N 85th St.

"It’s not family friend but areas outside the Main Street with shops or areas close to university village are nicer for families "

"Amazing park for kids and dogs. Great to take kids for a stroll. Safe neighbourhood though colleagues told me to not go jogging in the park too early/late when it’s dark to not get your phone stolen."

"Living in Green Lake is a dream. The location is close to a plethora of bus stops, the freeway, and a park and ride, ensuring a smooth commute to work or school. You're also close to neighborhoods, like the University District, Wallingford and Ballard. This is a very pet-friendly neighborhood, and it's often hard to complete walking around the lake without stopping to pet an adorable dog every couple of feet. I feel safe in Green Lake, and rent tends to be a little cheaper, but you certainly won't sacrifice on convenience, or lack of amenities. Green Lake truly offers the best of both worlds! "

"I just moved the Green Lake area and it is really nice! It is very family friendly neighborhood. It is definitely nice having Green Lake as your front yard. There is a good mix of restaurants (fancy and casual), bars and coffee. I definitely feel safe at night which is a plus in Seattle!"

"I've lived in Green Lake for nearly a year and I love it! Green Lake is great for an active lifestyle. Besides the obvious running/biking trail around the lake, there's also a surprising number of gyms and workout studios nearby. There's also a few great local spots to grab coffee and drinks - Latona Pub, Cafe Lulu and Fix Coffeehouse are my favorites. Definitely a walkable neighborhood...which is good, because parking is scarce, especially in warmer weather when people from outside the neighborhood drive to the lake. Overall though, totally worth it!"

"I have lived in Green Lake for 4 years and 1 year at this specific location. I always feel safe walking to and from my bus stop. There is some freeway noise but nothing like other Green Lake areas I have lived. The Lake is just down the road, and close to shops and restaurants and great breakfast locations like Dish and Butcher & the Baker!"
