"I've been in this neighborhood for 8 years now and it's great. some streets are quiet, others are chaos. my immediate neighbors are great and we all talk to each other daily. "
  • Endia
"There are nice areas and not so nice areas but I definitely recommend it. I love being close to the bars and parks. Not really a family area, we don’t spend time out in the neighborhood "
  • Miesha R.
"This neighborhood is family oriented in the daytime. But at night it’s a nightclub. You can find a really great place for a good price but don’t expect to sleep."
  • Endia
"There are some areas that are nicer and safer than others. Some streets have older residents and are quiet, some are not. Overall, there is crime and rough areas throughout "
  • Minnie S.
"always keep your family and valuable safe there are a lot of schools and daycares and after school programs in the area "
  • Reggie B.
"my neighbors are very friendly and always speak when they see you. Houses here have lots of character and are increasing in value substantially. it's a good area to live near downtown Tampa. "
  • Taylor d.
"I've lived in the Ybor area for 6 years now. everywhere is reachable by bicycle, most people are pretty friendly, and the neighbors are just good, hard working people getting by. it's sometimes loud, but you didn't come here for peace and quiet."
  • Rick H.
"As an agent, I cannot recommend living in this area. the Children are rude, the parents let the children do anything that they want and the neighbors do not care about anything that is going on around them. 70% of the people in the area do not work, and come the weekends, they party even harder. The kids do not have a curfew, and when the kids are actually in school the adults play music ALL DAY. I have seen kids with sticks, beating on cars and running back home, wherever they may be. In fact, you cant even tell who lives there or not because the whole zip code seems to use this area as a stomping ground. the police station is right there(!) and they REFUSE to patrol the area. The Element here is UNSAVORY and they even have "management" who allow the thugs to PARK IN THE ROAD WHILE THERE IS AMPLE SPACE IN THE PARKING LOT. A friend of mine Had her car TOWED OUT OF HER PARKING SPACE because a TIRE was in the grass. they said it was "GOVERNMENT PROPERTY", and I regret ever suggesting such a place. Sure, it looks nice, but the homes have CHINESE DRYWALL. be prepared for AT LEAST a $10,000 overhaul of the electrical and drywall, paint and plumbing. Dont fall for other Agents' listings in this area. You would do better renting a roach motel on Nebraska than living in this area for an extended period. Check the crime records, SOMEONE HAS BEEN SHOT because YOUR FUTURE NEIGHBORS CHILDREN refuse to leave the drama at the projects/club/jailhouse/crack alley. I may not live there, but if I can save a few people from investing their hard earned money into a money pit, then I will have done my job. ANYONE RATING THIS PLACE BETTER is not your friend. they are a REALTOR. -Rodney"
