4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for the 7th grade last year, I would say it’s not the best school to go to. There was always shootings nearby, even behind the school. Some of the kids even carried weapons around around the school and threatened others. If you don’t look or act a certain way there’s a high chance you or you kid will be bullied. The staff here were really supportive, if you were having a problem with other students, teachers, and stuff just in general they are most likely to support you and help you out. Teacher’s were not the best, most of them are good at teaching and explain well. A couple of the teachers didn’t teach you and you were able to be on your phone, call people, watch movies, eat in class, and the teacher would tell you to be quiet so that the other teachers next door wouldn’t tell someone else, they would also tell us we couldn’t tell another teacher.I wouldn’t go to this school again if I could.Other Review6mo ago - Reseda Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am writing to express my deep gratitude for the wonderful experience my son has had at Garden Grove Elementary. The teaching staff at this school is top-notch, and my son has made tremendous progress in his academic pursuits thanks to their guidance and support. Not only have the teachers been instrumental in my son's academic success, but they have also provided him with emotional support that has been invaluable. He has developed strong friendships with his classmates and has gained confidence in himself as a learner.Safety is also a top priority at Garden Grove Elementary, and I have always felt comfortable sending my son to school knowing that he is in a safe and secure environment. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of all students, and I am grateful for their efforts.I have been particularly impressed by the way the teachers at Garden Grove Elementary have tailored their instruction to my son's unique learning style. They have worked with him one-on-one to help him understand concepts that were initially challenging, and as a result, he has made tremendous progress.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my son's experience at Garden Grove Elementary. The teaching, social-emotional support, and safety of the school are excellent, and I am grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my son to learn and grow.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 18132 Cohasset St.

"The business development in my neighborhood is at an upward trend. There’s an annual artwalk and a quaint Southeast Asian community in the center: a handful of excellent Vietnamese and Thai restaurants and retail establishments. It’s mostly comprised of single-family housing, but quite a few apartments and condominiums have popped up in the last 10 years. Needless to say it’s quite a diverse and well-planned neighborhood."

"Schools are not the best in this aria. Lots of crime would not let my kids play in the aria I live in. Prostitution is a problem around the apartment I’m at right now also notice people visibly under the influence during early hours of the day. I would say if your looking to Rise a family this wouldn’t be your first choice. "
