3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis morning was the first day for my 6th grader and they said no parents on campus,so we couldnt come with him to get his schedule and they had parents on the campus which I was confused about because they said no parents on campus. And the only person I had contact with was this light skinned lady with braids in her head, was so freaking rude and slammed my car door so hard,I guess she had an attitude and wasn't ready to come back, idk but I just hope moving forward I don't have to deal with this woman ever again, Honestly it's kinda of sad that you have to leave this kind of review with a school because some of the staff is just awful on the first day of school.Parent Review11mo ago15 Reviews - Mort Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageToxic and high-stress work environment. Never had an experience so awful in my life. It broke my heart because I loved working with the children and was devoted to them; however, the teacher treated me in a degrading and prejudiced way. I am high functioning, but have a slight learning disability and was targeted relentlessly by this teacher. The teacher literally stood by, and did not nothing while I received non-stop passive-aggressive by not just her, but by her assistants, as well. I was new and starting off in the field, and unfortunately, this experience was discouraging and traumatizing. There is not one way to do things, and I was nothing but hands-on and supportive of those children; however, the classroom setting was filled with prejudism and miserable individuals. When I defended myself after the non-stop harassment, the teacher yelled at me, when all I did was defend myself after the harassment. The teacher and the assistant “told on me” without even talking it out and did so behind my back, knowing I was new and doing my best; they still let me go. I’m a single mom, and this was supposed to be my main source of income, but they didn’t care. It was like walking on eggshells every day, filled with miserable human beings in the classroom, and the environment they created was unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone. The front desk people were nice though, so I added a star, as this is not against them, but I do think if that teacher is that judgmental and miserable, then she should probably retire.Other Review2mo ago6 Reviews - Freedom High School

"Currently my commute is 25 to 40 minutes and I only live about 10 to 15 from my office building. There’s only one way in and one way out unfortunately. If you leave anywhere between 7:15 AM-8 AM, you will be met with heavy traffic, especially with kids in school and people commuting to work"

"My family & I have lived in Cory Lake Isles for two years, and our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. As a parent of young children, I place a high value on safety, community, and access to quality recreational amenities— Cory Lake Isles excels in all three areas. The sports and recreation facilities are exceptional. My children regularly enjoy the tennis courts, basketball court, hockey rink, soccer field, and the expansive lake, which offers both beauty and opportunities for family recreation. The pool, in particular, feels more like a Disney-quality resort than a neighborhood amenity. The neighborhood is well managed, secure, and continuously improving. We feel safe, welcomed, & confident raising our children here. Cory Lake Isles has exceeded our expectations and continues to prove itself as a premier place to live and raise a family."

"Traffic is bad around 3 pm and the rain but it is Florida. I think Pinellas County makes the Bay Area a great place. Not only the beaches but some of the best city’s in America are in Pinellas county. "

"Traffic is very bad and make sure there isn’t any games going. If there is add extra time for your commute. My 20minute drive turns into 1 hour if there is a lightening game going on. "
