i am a parent of a current student. my daughter has never been in any trouble at all. a rumor started in drill team, she was accused of cheating and the teacher, vice principal or principal did nothing. my daughter now has to take emotional therapy after this incident. i would not let my student go to school her period.

As a student who attends this school, it’s not horrible. The teachers are fine and counselors are extremely nice. There’s just a lot of discrimination and racism towards BLK. It seems as though there’s a white supremacy in the school and it’s mainly focused on dress code. I’ve seen multiple white girls wearing tennis skirts, short shorts, crop tops, etc. I’ve worn shorts, dress coded, ripped jeans, dress coded, low cut top, dress coded. Somehow, black girls especially are always “out of dress code.” It’s to the point where we’d just show up to school in sweatpants and sweaters in the blazing heat, not wanting to get called out. It’s not a bad school, I just want more equality. I’m big on Black Lives Matter and those movements so I’d love to share my opinion on this. Thank you for reading.

This school means so much to my heart. My son had a few problems last year and they were the kindest, most supportive team. The teachers, principal, assistant principal, counselor, even the front desk staff…every last one of them were there for my son and our family. I’m forever grateful. Educational, my kids have grown and they’ve had excellent teachers thus far. Many parents are involved in the PTA, my children feel safe, and parents are consistently informed of what is happening, educationally and socially.
