If I were to review my own apartment this would be the review:

"I stayed here for a while and really enjoyed it. The location couldn't be better you can walk to the beach, and Abbot Kinney is right there with amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and unique boutiques. It felt like I had the best of Venice Beach right outside my door, and it made exploring LA super easy.

The apartment is a studio, so the bed and living area are open to each other, which actually made the space feel bigger and brighter. The bed was really comfortable, and there was also a sofa bed that worked well when I had a friend visit. The kitchen is in a separate room, which I liked because it kept cooking smells out of the main space, and it had everything I needed to cook meals at home. One thing I especially appreciated was the large walk-in closet it gave me plenty of space to unpack and tuck my luggage away, which helped keep the studio feeling uncluttered.

Being on the ground floor, I also had access to an outdoor area with tables and chairs. They're a little worn, but honestly, I didn't see the neighbors much, so it almost felt like my own private patio. It was a nice spot to have coffee in the morning or relax in the evenings.

Wi-Fi was reliable the whole time, check-in was smooth, and communication was quick whenever I had a question. Street parking was usually easy to find as well.

Overall, this studio was a great mix of comfort and convenience. The layout worked perfectly for my stay, the walk-in closet was a huge bonus, and the location can't be beat. I'd happily stay here again."

If you're searching for an affordable place to stay in one of Los Angeles' most vibrant neighborhoods, this studio in the heart of Venice Beach is a great choice. It offers easy access to everything the area is known for. The neighborhood is highly walkable, putting you just steps away from shops, restaurants, and local attractions. With such a lively setting, you may occasionally hear sounds from neighbors or the bustling surroundings, adding to the authentic Venice Beach experience.

LIVING ROOM
This bright and spacious studio features an open-concept layout that combines comfort and style. The area includes a cozy queen bed with dark grey upholstered headboard, flanked by two bedside tables and set against tropical-themed curtains that add a pop of color. The living space offers a modern grey sofa with accent pillows, a glass coffee table, and a patterned rug that ties the space together. A TV is placed on a wooden console for entertainment, with additional seating and a small desk nearby. The light wood flooring, tall ceilings, skylight, ceiling fan, and recessed lighting create an airy, well-lit atmosphere. Decor accents like a large wall mirror, potted plants, and woven wall art complete the stylish setup making this studio both functional and inviting.

BATHROOM
This full bathroom features a clean and bright setup with white walls, a tiled floor, and a window with blinds that lets in natural light while maintaining privacy. It includes a standard toilet, a white vanity with a sink, mirror cabinet, and towel rack. Next to the sink is a modern white and gray drawer unit topped with potted plants for a touch of greenery and decor. A wall-mounted orange art piece adds a pop of color. The bathroom also has a walk-in shower with beige tile walls, offering both style and functionality. A small trash bin is placed beside the toilet for convenience. Overall, it's a well-organized and inviting space with all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

KITCHEN

It includes a stainless steel gas stove with oven, a built-in microwave, a full-size refrigerator, and ample white cabinetry for storage. • Erin K.
"I love the weather and biking to the many amazing restaurants in the area. However, the homeless situation gets worse everyday. We pay too much to live here surrounded by crime and garbage. "
  • Terry B.
"I have lived in Venice all my life. There’s no other place I would rather live. The weather is great, usually 20° cooler than downtown Los Angeles. Many outdoor activities including bike riding, surfing, walking, tennis, paddle tennis, basketball, rollerskating , swimming, And many more. Great walkability to restaurants, shopping, library, farmers market. Dog friendly. "
  • Olivia O.
"Venice is a chilled out, sea-side feel neighborhood. I was raised in Cape Town South Africa and there is a similarity of “vibe”. "
  • Cbowenusc
"What commute? I do not have a commute, a big driver behind my decision to live in Venice - great vibes all day and quiet at night "
  • Danielledruz
"It’s more of a young persons game. Young couples and new families but i think there are better places to raise kids"
  • Nathanlycan
"I love this neighborhood . It blends a beachside community with a growing art and culinary scene but maintains some of the less manicured, dogtown vibe"
  • Kamv25
"Honestly, we don't really have anything. Halloween used to be fun out here and houses used to go all out, not anymore. "
  • Nhailebuga
"Usually, medium to heavy traffic all week. Commute is 30 mins to work and usually 15 at night. Weekends get very busy due to Venice beach. "
  • Shon B.
"Beach events are always good fun. Biking is great in this area and people are definitely respectful of the bike lane. "
  • Altheatupper
"Neighbors are incredibly nice, great restaurants, and walker friendly. This is a wonderful place to live!"
  • Linkn
"Abbot Kinney street fair happens every yeah, they do many beach events and for the new year they do the penguin plunge at the pier. "
  • Linkn
"Venice gets more visitors than Disneyland. Parking is hard to find, the closer you are to the beach. Many homes are Airbnb. Love Venice but the prices are extremely high! the homeless population is higher than normal. "
  • Sarah G.
"Farmers markets, parks, great places to eat, the beach, jumping jacks, wizards, bean dip, and big hugs at red lights."
  • Dolph
"It’s a very “bohemian” environment... I’m sure super fun for kids 13-18... I would keep an eye on younger kids as Venice doesn’t always bring the best elements to the beach... all in all, it’s a fun diverse place with people from all over the world and all different social and economic backgrounds and a great place in my opinion."
