6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWES is an amazing school! The kids are able to make friends easily. The principal, Ms. McKeever, is kind, effective, and sets the positive tone for the school that every child deserves. The teachers care and go above and beyond the call of duty. I have been so impressed with everything about this school, and I wish we could stay forever!Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Walkersville High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very happy with the school where my son studies. The school truly motivates him to learn, and whenever he asks for support, the staff is always there to help. If any incident occurs, it is addressed very quickly and handled seriously, which gives me great confidence as a parent. The teachers are very attentive and make an effort to approach each student individually to help resolve any difficulties. I am sharing this based on what I personally see in how my son is treated, and I truly appreciate the care, support, and dedication shown by the school and its staff.Parent Review3mo ago10 Reviews - Walkersville Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is okay, but could be better. There is a new principal, and all she does is yell at students. There are multiple altercations in a single day, and 97% of them happen in the bathrooms. There are kids that are afraid to go to the bathroom just because of the amount of people that get jumped because there is zero hallway monitoring. The food is okay, but occasionally, the chicken is raw. Once, my friend found a FEATHER in her chicken. The water fountains have weird, gross stains on them, and the locks on most of the bathroom stalls either don’t work or are completely taken off. Dr Marker and Mr. Ryan are amazing administrators. The classrooms (especially in the 7th grade hallway) are either freezing cold or burning hot. I have mixed feeling about the teachers, but some of them pick favorites and you can clearly tell. I am so excited to leave this place.Student Review3mo ago15 Reviews - Check out schools near 1804 Derrs Ct.

"I’ve lived here for over 10 years it’s pretty quiet most of the time and most people keep to themselves. Down side is that there’s nothing to do here so it gets pretty boring."

"I don’t know. Just make sure your dog is on a leash. Not all dogs are friendly. And you don’t know what your dog is really capable of around strangers and other dogs. "

"It’s a very safe neighborhood, there’s lots of parks I just find it can be hard to find a lot of kid and teen spaces. I’d recommend making sure your teen has a license I see this as a place to live with young kids!"

"Neighborhood is very dog friendly. People are constantly walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. We have a 100 pound Rottweiler and have no issues walking her in the neighborhood. Everyone is good about adhering to the leash laws. For the most part, people are good about cleaning up after their dog."

"That people respect each other spaces on the sidewalks, but there is a problem with picking up at the pets. Even though there are receptacles with bags and then hang on waste area for them to put them in, so no need to be lazy."
