You can watch them on the playground as a large child will mow down a tiny one and pin them down and nothing will be done about it. One of my children got punched in the face twice going down a slide by a kid trying to knock him off of it. My other child would come home scraped up from being shoved down. I watched in carline as he was being shoved around by a very large child. When I said something I was told that they didn't see the pushing. My kid was shoved so hard one day that his water bottle in a silicone sleeve was knocked out of his bag and shattered. A teacher scolded him in front of the class saying it was his own fault for having an allergic reaction to something he didn't know he was allergic to yet after I reminded her that he had a doctor's note saying not to give him food. He said he was afraid he would be rude to not accept the treat they were repeatedly offering in that situation. The district is obsessed with selling kids candy to raise money to buy candy and sodas for teachers and constantly use candy bribes with young children as motivation.
