Originally part of the Mojave Rock Ranch Resort, this property is the epitome of "JT Style", in which rustic, artistic & luxury elements combine in unexpected & delightful ways.We welcome you to enjoy lots of lounging and relaxing at the cabin. There are private patios in the front and back, perfect for sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails. The 2 bedroom cabin (one king bed, one queen bed) has a fully equipped retro kitchen. Each room offers perfect views of the vast desert landscape, and abundant natural light. The cabin sits on 10 beautiful acres, with vast view from every angle and comfortable outdoor seating for a night of relaxing and star gazing.Joshua Tree National Park entrance is 15 minutes away. In the artists' community of Joshua Tree, you can also explore the galleries and shops and grab a bite to eat.Please feel free to ask us for suggestions for special trips, from rock climbing, trail riding, guided hikes and night sky viewing venues to massage, yoga, and spa treatments.OTHER THINGS TO NOTE Professionally managed by Property Manager The fireplace can NOT be used at this time RENTAL AGREEMENTThere will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation PROPERTYThe house sits on a shared 10 acre lot. GUESTSYou are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. BEDROOM DOORSPlease note that the cabin does not have bedroom doors, the doors are a thick linen material that can be closed for privacy but they are not a solid barrier between the bedrooms and the living room. FIREDue to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane fire pit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine. IDENTITY VERIFICATIONYou will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text.
