I have two children who currently attend Houston Middle School. I am pleased with the individual attention that they receive at this school. One of my children is at the higher end of academic performance and is constantly challenged by teachers to reach higher goals. My other student requires extra academic attention and teachers are proactive to ensure that this attention is given. In addition, teachers respond in a very timely fashion when I e-mail about questions or concerns that I have. The small school environment has been very beneficial to my family.

I go to this school and honestly, we suck. The teachers are really great and they care about us all, but the kids are stupid and unmotivated. Maybe it's just freshmen class but, no one really cares about their grades. People rage bait the teachers (especially the subs) and they're just immature. We are still kids and stuff but come on. Also the vaping is pretty bad. Vape detectors do nothing. This school is a bad choice and trust me, there are so many better places.

I feel like children who may be on the high end are getting overlooked because they have so many students who are low. They are overly focused on the low children.
