"Courthouse bay Camp Lejeune is about a 30 min drive unless you get stuck at the gate. Anything you have to take 17 can get stop and go at rush hours "

"Living in Hampstead feels like living in a small friendly town of 60 years ago; people wave and speak, even to strangers, and help each other in times of need. The weather is influenced by the Gulf Stream, so it's always cooler (or warmer) than in nearby inland communities. While it is quiet here, there is plenty to do, especially if you like water activities, and both Wilmington and Raleigh have a lot to offer in terms of culture, concerts, and night life."

"I have no idea what this post is referring too. I have lived in Hampstead Pines since the beginning. No through streets lots of Cul-de-sac streets for the kids to ride bikes, play basketball safely! Great location to Wilmington and Jacksonville and Topsail Schools is one of the best in NC."

"My family and I have lived in the Hampstead area for over 3 years and it's a great place to raise a family. Close to the beach, friendly people, very quiet, great schools and a short drive into Wilmington. ...what's not to like? "
