"People are not neighborly and dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs. Parking is a nightmare, too many abandoned vehicles and selfish people taking up two spaces or jogging parking spots. Neighborhood is not safe. "

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 10 years and in recent years crime has risen, and to top off in the last month certain people taking over the streets ( Budlong Ave) parking their cars to hang around to smoke and drink. "

"There aren’t too many community events here. But USC is nearby so there’s always all the school events like Festival of Books. "

"A lot of gun shots and a lot of robberies. Prepare for mayhem. There are lots of accidents around this area, as well. Secure your packages. Thieves are ruthless here and don’t care if they’re on camera. "

  • Gary S.
"community is dog friendly and everyone's responsible for their pets. There's also a big enough park to take dogs for a walk."

  • Sandra R.
"There a lot of families in this area. Park nearby. However, if you don’t have parking in your house, people tend to double park and won’t move their car for anyone else. Some even have their car double parked for a whole day. It’s ridiculous because when you have parties, there’s never parking near by. But, other than that, it’s calm and most of the time peaceful. "
