MONTH-TO-MONTH GRANNY FLAT FOR RENT. FULLY FURNISHED. ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED.

My name is Jill and I own a large home in the beautiful neighborhood of Quail Gardens in Leucadia, which is located a few minutes from the beach and surrounded by fabulous trails. I'm looking for a roommate to rent our attached private granny flat that is comfortable, spacious and bright with natural light. It is completely furnished and includes a private entrance, bedroom with walk-in closet, large bathroom, living area and kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a full size refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, French press, microwave, electric cooktop and toaster oven. It's certainly not for Martha Stuart, but a single person could easily whip up a nice meal. You can also enjoy your morning coffee in the sun in our peaceful garden setting.

Although the flat has a private entrance from the outside and you will have plenty of peace and privacy, we would still technically be roommates. Please understand that although the granny flat is private, we share a wall and have children in middle school. We will do our best to be considerate in regards to noise, but you will no doubt know that you are living with a family (and a sweet labrador!) Our family begins the day around 5:30AM each and every morning, so we don't recommend our granny flat if you are sensitive to noise in the early morning. Our children practice the violin and piano before school (6:30-7:30AM), so the mornings are filled with music.

You'll enjoy living close to everything - neighborhood park, hiking trails, Moonlight Beach, Encinitas Ranch golf course and great restaurants along the coast, all while living in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to I-5!

A GOOD CREDIT HISTORY AND STABLE INCOME ONLY. NO CO-SIGNERS.
No parties, no pets, one car MAX.
Move-in dues will be one month security deposit and one month rent.
You will be required to provide proof of income, proof of funds, proof of employment.

    "The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."
