I have no idea how this place has a reputation of a “good school.” Everything about this place is messed up and no one cares to fix it. Most classes are spent either self-taught or the teacher is cursing the students out for not understanding. I basically have to look up whatever unit we’re on because we don’t learn anything. It sucks for the very few teachers that actually try to do their job because my classmates are shouting pervy things to each other or the teacher. My classmates casually walk out of the campus vaping and the staff who literally stand out the gate don’t even notice. The electives are trash because all they have are boring “educational” classes with those trashy teachers.Most of my classmates ended having to go to summer school because they couldn’t complete their credits, so I have no idea where the high test scores are coming from. Yes, I’ve tried emailing the principal and I never got a response. In short, this place is where you got to rot. I guess the only good thing about this place is that I’m graduating in a few years.Where’s your “Gold Standard,” Cerritos?

This is the second time my son has reported the presence of a probable firearm at Faye Ross. It's alarming and I believe action must be taken to ensure the safety of the students and staff on a daily basis. It's crucial that our schools remain secure environments where students can learn and grow without fear. This is unacceptable.

This is assigned school to my address. When I saw 7/10 on GreatSchools, I was worried if I am sending my kid to a mediocre school. But this school is far superior than what you can imagine. The teachers are amazing, sharp, focussed and very detailed. they know each kid very well and know their strengths and weaknesses. Highly recommend this school to everyone and making my effort to attract more school of choice applications to my child's school :)
