this highschool under the rule of mr williams i can confidently say this schools experience was awful. the teachers dont teach the principal is over policing everyone and the students are being thrown work and being told to just "figure it out". they take your snacks and force you to wait untill lunch meaning you must put your snacks or food brought from home in either a lunch box or a plastic bag with a stickynote on it. and to the low income students who cant afford lunch boxes they are forced under this rule. the bathrooms are locked 90% of the school day. the principal with a megaphone ushers kids off the property scorning community and pushing the agenda of a prison like school. and the food is low quality as multiple students have reported unusual findings in their food like nails hair teeth. but theyve also reported that the low quality food is so awful theyd rather skip it entirely and starve. Lincoln High school is a shameful prison for children while it decorates itself from the outside as a high prestigious black school. but the bilingual kids are failing spanish, the intelligent kids are burning out quicker and the ones who gave up already know their fate once they leave this highschool.

I use to love this school for my children before COVID became a thing, but now Charles Rice has fallen under the radar. The kids dont learn on the levels that they should. They are given homework assignments that are not taught in the classroom, and the teachers are all about "gossip and a paycheck" rather than helping the children academically! This will be the last year that my children attend this school, and this WILL NOT be a recommendation of mine.

My nephew that deals with mental health issues was jumped by 3 boys so safety is definitely lacking.
